Fun City Birthday

Matthew got a postcard from Fun City inviting him to celebrate his birthday at their fine family-friendly facility. In a rather spontaneous manner, we packed up the kids after supper and drove over to Burlington. 

Matthew collected Huck Bucks in their money machine. He collected over $200!!! Why don't they put real money in these machines?? 

That place is fun, no matter what. We are looking forward to summer, when the water park is open. Entertainment for the whole family!

Introducing Twinkle, or Diamond!!

Ever since Emily got her 4-H bunny last spring, Megan has been waiting to pick out her spring bunny. Last night she picked out this little gray and white bunny. It is almost humorous how similar she looks to Emily's bunny!

So, here is Twinkle. Or Diamond. Or Butterfly. This bunny has accumulated a list of names. We'll see which one sticks!

A Little April Fool's Fun

I like to play little pranks. Nothing big, and I have learned not to mess with Matthew's food. He doesn't find that amusing. 

But this year I pranked the girls and Eli. I made "lemonade" last night and put it in the refrigerator to set. It is actually lemon jello. They were completely surprised when they couldn't suck their lemonade up the straws!

A little time. A little money. A lot of smiles and giggles! SCORE!
