One of the things I love about homeschooling is doing the "extras" that take us out of books and let us work with our hands. This is a replica of a Roman aquaduct that we made out of a cereal box, and paper towel tube and aluminum foil.
We cut and glued and ended up with a working replica that actually carried water -- to some of my houseplants.
