Ok, I guess this was technically part of our vacation, but it is not about Mt. Olympus. Before leaving the Dells we stopped for lunch at Buffalo Phils. If you eat at Buffalo Phil's, you are treated to a fun atmosphere. You can watch chicken rotating on a spit over a fire. There are chandeliers made of deer antler. And lots of stuffed animal heads decorating the restaurant. Everything has a feel of a massive pioneer cabin -- with all the modern conveniences we have grown to love.
But, we stopped by for Eli. He LOVES trains, and we heard that at Buffalo Phil's you can have your food delivered by an electric train. We requested a track-side table and watched as food and beverages were delivered to different tables. Gotta get one of those installed at our house! Mealtime would definitely be more fun!
If you are in the Dells, you should check out Buffalo Phil's! The food is excellent, and I loved their home-brewed root beer. You'll get a great meal, and the kids will be entertained at the same time.
