Wis Dells Vacation -- go karts, roller coasters & more

Ok, this will be my last post about our vacation. I promise!

One great benefit of staying at Mt. Olympus resorts is that your armband can be scanned to make charges to your room. So you don't have to carry a wallet or purse or cash while at the parks! It makes it easy to spend the entire day from open to close at the park without worrying about carrying cash for meals or shopping.

This was one of Emily's favorite roller coasters.
It gets two thumbs up!

The go-kart tracks were a blast! This was a favorite, winding up and then down!

With all the attractions, the kids had to stop by the petting zoo every time we walked past it. This guy was so friendly. Well, I suppose all the goats were. They have learned that people = food.

I lost track of how many times the girls rode this indoor ride. It takes is a vertical ride that drops to give the rider a free-fall experience. As soon as the ride ended, they would run back to the entrance and ride it again, and again, and again.

Emily in a silly hat!
I love the theme of the park. Everything was designed with a Greek theme, utilizing columns and a stone appearance in the architecture. The names of the rides and shops carried out the Greek theme. The rides are named after Greek gods or mythological characters. Since we studied ancient Greece last school year, I consider this a review field trip. ;)

Well, that is all! Great memories made. It was great to get away from our normal routine and just spend time together and have Matthew with us for
3 days without sharing him with his work!!!!

Sometimes life needs a brief change-up, a break to just play and have fun!
