How do I describe Megan? She is a joy. She makes friends wherever she goes. She loves life. She is full of compassion. Megan always has a hug. Megan is our prayer warrior. She is quick to hold a door for you, or carry your purse. She loves her room to be kept tidy. She loves dresses and skirts, and owns more shoes than anyone in our house.
Like all children, Megan is special.
Megan celebrated her 8th birthday this year. She started with cinnamon rolls for breakfast before church. Then Grandma and Grandpa Ward came over for a visit and cake. After a nice visit, we met up with Grandma Kathy, and Great Grandpa and Great Grandpa in Macomb for some Larry A's birthday pizza!
The next day we celebrated with friends and family at Fun City's Huck's Harbor water park. The weather was great, the park wasn't too crowded and everyone had a great time. Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate -- swimmers and non-swimmers. It meant so much to Megan to have so many friends and family celebrate her and the special young lady she has become.
I tried to get photos of everyone, but missed a few friends. : (
